The funeral of Britain's King Edward VII, on 20 May 1910, was the last occasion upon which the leading figures of European royalty gathered together.
Among those in London for the funeral were Germany's Kaiser Wilhelm II; Austria-Hungary's Emperor Franz Josef I; Theodore Roosevelt, representing USA; Bulgaria's Tsar Ferdinand I... and also Archduke Franz Ferdinand, whose assassination four years later sparked the First World War.
